Hey there! I’m the maker, creator, and concrete connoisseur behind Potiche.
By day, I’m deep in the world of instructional design (think corporate online courses and e-learning magic), but when the laptop shuts, I swap the keyboard for concrete mix, tunes, and a little bit of fresh air therapy. It all started when my hubby and I took a three-day Concrete Artisan course in Brisbane, and let’s just say - I got hooked!
Now, I hand-pour and press concrete into beautiful functional homewares, from stylish planter pots and trays to statement coffee tables and lush garden bowls set in our large concrete bowl.
Our pieces are perfectly imperfect and this is just one of the things I love most about concrete. It’s raw, organic, and never quite the same twice. Every piece I create has its own unique quirks - subtle textures, tiny air bubbles, and perfectly imperfect charm. No two are ever identical, which makes each one feel like a little work of art.
It’s that blend of strength and softness, industrial edge and natural beauty, that makes concrete so irresistible.
